The Wedding of Sara & Simon at Close House, Northumberland

If you’ve ever been to Close House in Northumberland you’ll know just how beautiful it is! It’s a big elegant restored 18th century mansion surrounded by wonderful Northumbrian countryside. It’s also the venue Sara & Simon chose to host their wedding – and I’m chuffed I was chosen as their photographer.

It was an October wedding with the ceremony late afternoon, so it offered the challenging light that few photographers choose to embrace. It gave a wonderful romantic and cosy feel to the night and produced some great shots.
