The Wedding of Michelle & Floyd at The Quayside Exchange, Sunderland

The day started at The Marriott with a little bit of a panic due to Michelle’s wedding makeup artist not turning up! Thankfully the bridesmaids came to the rescue and they both did a stirling job and made Michelle up to look just perfect for her big day. With things back on track and the getting ready wedding photography out of the way it was time for me to dash to Michelle and Floyd’s chosen wedding venue – The Quayside Exchange in Sunderland to record the ceremony. A great wedding venue with wonderful low atmospheric lighting made for some classic ceremony shots whilst the terrace on the back was perfect to capture the chosen formal shots. I wanted to get a photo of Michelle & Floyd with the classy Beauford wedding car they hired but the streets were full of traffic – so with enough time before the speeches I asked the driver to take us all to the factories round the back where I’d spotted a great colourful backdrop for the car shot I’d planned.
